What is the Digital Kit program?

The Digital Kit is an initiative of the Government of Spain, with an investment of more than 3,000 million euros in the digitalization of SMEs and self-employed workers, belonging to any sector, with the aim of subsidizing the implementation of digital solutions to achieve significant progress. at the level of digital maturity.
The amount of aid depends on the number of employees: Up to €12,000 subsidy for companies with 10 to 49 employees. Up to €6,000 subsidy for companies with 3 to 9 employees. Up to €2,000 subsidy for companies with 0 to 2 employees.

The Digital Kit program is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025. In addition, it is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Services Order 1498/2021 of the Digital Kit
(*) According to Order ETD/1498/2021, BrainsPro will include the following services in the price offered:
- Consulting for parameterization and data loading. 45 hours in Starter Kit and Pro Kit and 60 hours in Corporate Kit (annex IV, category VI)
- Initial application and data protection training (art.13.1.b)
- Preparation of the Subsidy Justification (art.31.2)
- Preparation of Technical Report (art. 31.6)
- Preparation and signing of a prior contract with Digitizing Agent (art. 30.4)
- Preparation and signing of the Digitalization Solutions Provision Agreement (art. 30.1)

If you meet the conditions established in the bases of the call for the Digital Kit aid, you will be able to have a digital voucher that will allow you to access digitalization solutions.
The digital solutions provided by the Digital Kit are aimed at the needs of small businesses, micro-businesses and self-employed workers, belonging to any sector or type of business. In such a way that, depending on the number of employees, the following segments have been created:
a) Segment I: Small companies between 10 and less than 50 employees. Digital bonus amount: Up to €12,000.
b) Segment II: Small businesses or Microbusinesses between 3 and 10 employees. Digital bonus amount: Up to €6,000.
c) Segment III: Small businesses or Microbusinesses with between 0 and less than 3 employees.
Digital bonus amount: Up to €2,000
People in self-employment (self-employed workers) are considered included in all segments, depending on the number of workers they have hired.
- Be a small business, micro-business or self-employed.
- Comply with the financial and effective limits that define the categories of companies.
- Be in a registered position and have the minimum seniority established by the call.
- Not be considered a company in crisis.
- Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
- Not be subject to a pending recovery order from the European Commission that has declared aid illegal and incompatible with the common market.
- Not incur any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies.
- Do not exceed the limit of minimum aid (small amounts).
No, the application, management and associated expenses are free of charge. The only thing you will have to pay, because they are not subsidized, are taxes such as VAT.
BrainsPro, as a Digitizing Agent, will make you a complete invoice for the service in which you will only have to pay the VAT (which can later be offset with other expenses).
The digital Voucher will NOT cover VAT or other taxes, which must be paid by the beneficiary, regardless of whether they can later deduct them.
The following will also not be considered eligible:
- The interest on debts.
- Default interest, surcharges and administrative and criminal sanctions.
- Expenses derived from judicial procedures. Financial expenses.
- Infrastructure and civil works expenses.
- Land.
- Hardware.
- Telecommunications and Internet connectivity services.
- Expenses related to compensation for work provided by third parties to obtain this aid (expenses for the provision of advisory, management or similar services).
The request will be made by completing an automated form in the electronic office determined in each call (which will be accessible from the platform Accelerate SME).
You will be able to contract as many solutions and sign as many contracts with Digitizing Agents as you want, until the amount of the Digitization Bonus is exhausted and during the period of time established for this.
You can request it regardless of the segment to which your company belongs.
